IT'S HERE!
What Nottingham City Council are calling Nottingham's
BIGGEST EVENT OF SEPTEMBER!

Walking barefoot is the most natural thing we do and for 60 million people across the globe it is their only option as they don’t possess a single pair of shoes. This September Nottingham's Barefoot Walk of 3km & 5km at Wollaton Park, which is registered to Guiness World Records, aims to put Nottingham on the map whilst raising funds for 2 fantastic charities and donating pairs of shoes to Africa where they will be distributed freely amongst those who cannot afford them.

Come and join us as we aim to smash the current world record for barefoot walking which stands at 2500!

All money raised from sponsorship and entries will be divided between Nottingham Hospitals Charity Fund  and the Childrens Air Ambulance national charity.

We have emailed over 230 schools and over 13000 NHS staff to help to make this a great family event. We will have everything for a great day out including a Food & Drink stall from a top Michelin Star Chef, gift stalls, musical performances, bouncy castles and more!

Look out for news of our pre-event Barefoot Ball to be held in July at which we will be auctioning celebrity footwear to raise funds for our special charities!

Any sponsorship or donations from the people and businesses of Nottingham would be most welcome.
